Burlesque (2010) is a theatrical and a dramatic movie scheduled to be released on November 24, 2010 in theaters worldwide, written and directed by Steven Antin. The film stars, Cher , Christina Aguilera, Eric Dane, Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough, Stanley Tucci, Kristen Bell, and Alan Cumming. The term burlesque may be traced to folk poetry and theater and apparently derived from the late Latin burra ('trifle'). The first widespread use of the word was as a literary term in 17th century Italy and France, was where it referred to a grotesque imitation of the dignified or pathetic.Burlesque (2010) is produced by Stacy Cramer, and Donald De Line, It was produced in the United States. Today New Burlesque has taken many forms, but all have the common trait of honoring one or more of burlesque's previous incarnations, with acts including striptease, expensive costumes, bawdy humor, cabaret and more.
